Moreover, the flap of the bag remains tightly closed with the handy snap buckles, which are equipped with adjustable straps so that the contents can be securely packed. One-time mounting with the Fixed Mounted Straps
The Fixed Mounted Straps are pre-mounted straps on the bridge of the Basil Mara 3XL pannier. The advantage is that you only have to attach the bag to your rack once. You place the bag on the rack. Tip: fold one side back towards the carrier, this allows you to reach the straps better. Thread the strap through the steel buckle, tighten the strap and repeat this for the remaining three straps. Now your bag is secured!
