Great features

The Basil City double pannier has a stylish and sleek gray design finished with subtle but classy details. Handy for going to the supermarket or other daily activities. Will it rain on the way? Then the water-repellent polyester material ensures that the contents of the bag remain dry. Moreover, the flap of the bag has a folding closure with Velcro to prevent rain from entering. The reflective stripes on the sides make you highly visible to other road users.

Optimization options

To make the bag even more pleasant and luxurious to use, there are extra options and attachments available. If you need a little more space, the folding closure can be adjusted in height with Velcro. Which takes you from a capacity of 28 liters to a total of 32 liters. For extra safety in addition to the reflective features, there is an attachment option for universal LED lights (not included). If you have a lot of heavy stuff in the bag (Max. load capacity 5 kg per single bag). Then you can combine the bag with the Basil Distance Holder – 70178 (sold separately). This holder prevents the bag from getting into the spokes of your bike.

Universal Bridge system with multiple mounting options

Easily attach the Basil City double pannier to your bike rack with the Universal Bridge system. Thanks to the Universal Bridge system with eight slots, you can choose from three options to attach the bag. You can attach it with the supplied straps. Or in combination with the removable bag system Basil DBS system – 70186 (sold separately). We explain this handy and fine option for you in the paragraph below. The third and final option is an adapter plate like the removable MIK system (this adapter plate is available separately).

Multifunctional Basil DBS System

The Detachable Bag System provides you with a handy system to quickly and easily attach or detach your double pannier to the bike rack. This way you can easily take your double pannier into the store. The system turns your double pannier into a detachable pannier. The ‘Detachable Bag System’ consists of two plates that you attach once with straps to your bag (plate 1) and carrier (plate 2). You then place the bag on the carrier and turn the dials a quarter turn. Your bag is secure! With the same ease you can unscrew the bag and take it with you quickly and easily.
