Then the soft waterproof PU (IPX3) material and the taped seams ensure that the contents of the bag stays dry. You close the bag with a roll top that you attach to the sides with snaps (also equipped with zipper). Secure the roll top closure with the convenient snap buckle, it has an adjustable strap that allows you to securely pack the contents.

A bicycle bag for many occasions

You carry the bike backpack comfortably on your back thanks to the padded back panel and reinforced shoulder handles. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust to the desired length. Are you continuing your journey on your bike afterwards? Hook the backpack to your bike rack. Because the bag is attached to the bike rack, you avoid arriving at your destination sweaty. Simply hook the Basil SoHo Nordlicht bike backpack to the rack of your (electric) bike thanks to the handy Hook-On system. This allows you to remove your bike backpack from the bike within seconds and carry it conveniently to the next point on your agenda. Without worries, you’ll hit the road because the green security clip prevents you from losing the pannier on the road. Because the weight of the bag is placed much lower, you cycle much more stable and therefore safer. Very nice! The hooks on the bag are neatly shielded so that you are not inconvenienced by the system while carrying it.

A narrow carrier? Combine with the Sports mounting hooks

Do you have a narrower carrier than usual and do you want your bag to remain securely in place while cycling? Then you can replace the current Hook-On System attachment hooks with the Sports attachment hooks – 70197 (sold separately). The Sports mounting hooks are suitable for carriers with a tube thickness of 10-12 millimeters. Are the current mounting hooks due for replacement or do you just want to have a set of spares at home. Then use the standard attachment hooks – 70196 (sold separately). The standard mounting hooks are suitable for racks with a tube thickness of 16 millimeters.

Caution
– Abrasion against somewhat rougher surfaces may cause damage to the material. Nevertheless, even then the bag remains waterproof with the same high IPX3 standard.
– Nordlicht Technology can be used as a supplementary lighting and in no way replaces the legally required bicycle lighting. For the use of all lighting you must at all times follow the legal regulations regarding bicycle lighting of the country.
